CTO of SMOTO GmbH
Head of Engineering and Propulsion Systems Design. Graduate in Theoretical Physics from the University of Regensburg and the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, with a PhD in Quantum Chromo Dynamics obtained in 2015. Tobias gained extensive experience as a lead developer in various industries, including the industrial and automotive sectors. His area of expertise includes the development of hardware and software solutions.

Prof. Dr. Nikolay T. Tchamov, MSc’1976, PhD’1980, Docent’1989 at
Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria on Fast Analog IC Design and
their CAD Tools Development. Assoc. Researcher on DSP in Tokyo
University 1983-84, and in CERN Geneve 1991-92 for Particle Physics
Data Acquisition. From 1997 a Full Professor in RF Micro Electronics
in University of Tampere, Finland. Founded and developed RF-ASIC Lab.
Co-Authored over 85 IEEE Publications and 56 USA & EU Patents.
Consultant at Bell-Labs USA 1997-2003, and at Dialog-Semiconductor
in Germany 2000-2003. Since 2019 a Professor Emeritus at University
of Tampere, Finland, and since September-2024 serving as Director
R&D of Smoto Micro-Chip, Germany.
