System Integration
Motor, inverter, battery and embedded software are brought together as one coordinated electric drive system – from feasibility to series production.

SMOTO develops electric drive systems in which motor, inverter, battery and embedded software are considered together from the start. This creates a coordinated drive with clear responsibility, fewer interfaces and one continuous development path. It fits projects where installation space, thermal behavior, control and user interaction need to work closely together – for example in mobile or industrial applications.
The scope depends on the project: SMOTO can integrate individual components or take responsibility for the complete drivetrain. The path runs from feasibility through system design and prototyping to series production, with one point of contact across all phases. Embedded firmware, control and, where required, user interfaces are designed so the components work on a shared architecture. Because motor, inverter and battery are developed in house, technical decisions can be aligned early and integration risks can be reduced in a targeted way.
Let's discuss your project and the right integration scope – from initial feasibility to series production.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is electric drive system integration?
System integration combines motor, inverter, battery and embedded software into one coordinated electric drive that is optimised as a whole.
Why integrate instead of selecting components?
Selecting components in isolation often leads to mismatches at the interfaces between suppliers. An integrated system is optimised end-to-end for efficiency, weight and reliability – with one accountable partner and fewer external interfaces, from feasibility to series.
What does SMOTO's integration include?
Custom BLDC motors, BLDC inverters, Li-ion battery systems and embedded firmware & UI – fully developed in-house and matched to the application.
What is the process from idea to series?
SMOTO supports the full path: feasibility study, system design, prototyping, integration and series production – under ISO 9001.
